During the next year Zeke and Pieck were given their titan powers. Since I already had titan powers I did not receive anything. We all worked hard to harness our powers but after a few months it became clear that something wasn't right. Despite having all the benefits of being a titan shifter, such as the ability to heal, increased agility and strength, I was unable to shift into a titan. It was clear that the government, in particular my captain, were becoming frustrated with me. I began to fear they would expel me from the military, or worse even kill me if I couldn't perform my duties.
My saving grace came from Zeke. He had become our warchief after he inherited his titan power therefore he was in charge of leading the operation to find the "Founding Titan" in Paradis. Plans were already being made on how to find and capture the owner of the power. When the new recruits were ready to receive their titan power, the government planned to attack the island of Paradis. However Zeke proposed a new plan, one that would give me a purpose and a reason to keep me alive.
Even though I couldn't shift into a titan, I still had all the other benefits of a shifter. I could infiltrate the city and learn the location of the founding titan and then report back. Even though Marley possessed more titan powers than Paradis, they wanted to avoid war if possible, therefore they were willing to agree to his plan. Since I couldn't shift into a titan, Pieck volunteered to escort me to the island, for without the power of a titan there was no way to survive the endless swarm of mindless titans wandering throughout the land.
"You ready for tomorrow?" Pieck asked from beside me. We were both sitting on a hill overlooking the barracks. It was the one place were I could see over the walls to the outside world.
"As ready as I'll ever be," I turn towards her with a smile. "Thank you for coming with me tomorrow,"
"Of course! There's no way I'd let you go alone. Believe me, Zeke wouldn't allow it either. He'd come too if he could,"
"Yeah I know, I don't know what I'd do without either of you."
"Well you'd have your family that's for sure. How are they doing by the way? I haven't seen [Name] in forever,"
"I...I don't know," I answered hesitantly. "We haven't talked since our fight,"
"You mean you haven't talked in over a year?!" Pieck gasped "I mean I knew you hadn't gone home in awhile, but I assumed you were still writing to each other,"
"No," I replied sadly.
"You should go see her,"
"I can't,"
"She's your sister, you should at least say goodbye. I bet your mom and dad would like to see you too,"
I let out a deep sigh. "Alright, I go there now,"

My mother and stepfather were of course thrilled for me. I'd be able to put all my training to use and bring honor to our family. Not to say that they weren't worried, as all parents should be when their child is risking their life. Still it's everything they could ever hoped for, for now they would be able to live outside of the Internment Zone.
"Where's [Name]?" I asked.
"She should be getting home soon. She's been working at the market along with your cousins Dai and Michio,"
"How has she been?" I asked quietly.
"She's been missing you," my mother answered
"She'd never admit it though," my stepfather added "She's stubborn, just like your mother," he let out a small chuckle while elbowing your mother. She sent him a icy stare before a smile lit her features.
"MOM, DAD I'M HO-"
My sister's eyes widened when they met mine. Two more pairs of eyes widened as well. Your cousin's Dai and Michio came in behind her.
"Natasha! You're here!" they cheered, tackling me in a hug.
"Oh boys, we weren't expecting you two for dinner," my mother said
"It's okay, we weren't planning on staying," Michio answered.
"Yeah, we just wanted to make sure [Name] got home okay," Dai added
"Well that was very sweet of you,"
"So what are you doing home Natasha?" your sister asked with a bit of suspicion in her voice.
"Oh well, I'm leaving...tomorrow,"
"Leaving where?" Dai piped
"For Paradis,"
Dai's eyes widened in horror "That's where the demons are!"
"It's okay Dai," My stepfather replied "Natasha's been training her whole life for this moment. She's going to bring honor our family as well as the Marley nation, right Natasha?"
"I'll do my best," I replied as confidently as I could.
"Well you better get some rest, dear. Thank you for stopping by," my mother said while enveloping me in her arms.
"Be careful out there, okay?" Dai asked as he hugged your waist.
"I will. Don't worry,"
After waving goodbye you made your way outside. "Natasha wait!" Hearing my sister's voice stops me in my tracks. Before I can even turn around she tackled me in a hug. "I'm sorry....for everything," she whispered into my ear. I was a bit shocked at her sudden affection but I quickly returned her hug. "Promise me you'll come home?"

Call Your Heroes (Levi x Reader)
Listen to this as you read~: [link]
The rain smacked against the window panes.
Her scent lingered on the pillow like the memories of watching countless comrades die right before his eyes, once he closed his eyes, he relived each battle where he'd watch them die all over again. He wanted to save them, just kill every titan he could, but it was like his legs had been glued to the ground as he stood frozen in his spot as the titans devoured each and everyone in his field of vision.
He laid in his bed, restless as he quietly listened to the hard rain that smacked on the glass from outside. The other half of the bed lay untouched, the place whe

"This one looks quite nice. How much for it?" A young woman questioned, her dainty fingers reaching down into the depths of her purse, and bringing forth a nicely stitched together wallet. You walked around the counter towards her, and inspected the colorful canvas she was speaking about. Swirls of apricot colored paint contrasted the cooler color palette of the rest of the piece - it was one of your favorites. The sun reflecting on a nearby pond at nighttime. You had never expected anyone to want it, however, since it was one of your first paintings. Because of that you didn't have a set price.
"Uh, I'll take practically anything for it." Y

Better Than Me - Levi x Reader
It was always the same. Every night. Every damn night Levi would have nightmares about the soldiers he’d lost in battle, about the comrades he had to sacrifice for a better chance. They haunted him, seeing their blood stained faces calling and crying for him to save them in their final moments left him more damaged than he’d ever reveal.
He’d toss and turn, desperately searching for comfort in his sheets, wishing deeply that maybe tonight would be the night that the gods would bless him with a blank mind as he slept. But no, the load that weighed down the shoulders of Humanity’s Strongest Soldier was too heavy for eve
